COMPUTER INCIDENT EMERGENCY RESPONSE
AusCERT provides a single, trusted point of contact in Australia for the Internet community to deal with computer security incidents and their prevention. AusCERT's aims to reduce the probability of successful attack, to reduce the direct costs of security to organizations, and to lower the risk of consequential damage. The AusCERT website has a lot of up-to-date information about viruses and other network threats.

COMPUTER FORENSICS TRAINING
The Computer Crime Division of the National White Collar Crime Centers offers a 40-hour course designed to take officers proficient with the fundamentals of computer-based evidence, into more varied and complex technical terrain. Topical areas include large hard drives, advanced imaging, alternate media, transient data, Internet issues, and testimony considerations. The division also offers a basic computer forensics training course, as well as a cybercrime fighting tape and accompanying manual.

GUIDE TO INTERNET FILTERING
Palisade Systems, a company that specializes in Internet filtering products and services, has posted a guide to the Children's Internet Protection Act. The Act requires that schools and libraries that receive certain federal funds to filter Internet content that is deemed obscene or harmful to minors. The guide includes information for drafting an Acceptable Use Policy which is a component of the Protection law.

SPY LINKS
This site offers a lot of links that are a mixture of good and not so good. However, most major categories for investigation and research are covered so you can get a general idea of what kind of information can be retrieved conveniently from various specialized sources. A lot of the sites in the "Information Resources" section charge a fee for combing through official documents. The "Equipment" section is one of the better resources of its type online, while the "Phone and Email" section has some of the most reliable free sites online mixed in with other fee services and programs.

TECHNOLOGY DIALOGUE
Police Futurists International strives to develop and maintain lines of communication with academics and private companies to better learn what new methods and technologies are being developed that are of potential use to law enforcement. At the same time, the organization tries to help researchers understand the needs and concerns of law enforcement in applying technology to their efforts. NAME THAT GOON
The Teknion Tracker is designed to help track the predators that prey on children. The Teknion search engine and tool page include everything from telephone directories to methods and tools for tracking individuals by website, email, and Usenet group. Some of the tools can be used to track certain types of offenders and activities on and offline. The Teknion tracker appears on several websites involved in the fight against child pornography.

CONFRONTING ONLINE HARASSMENT
This volunteer organization takes on online harassment through education of the public, and law enforcement. W.H.O.A. helps empower victims and formulated voluntary policies which they encourage online communities to adopt in order to create safe and welcoming environments for all Internet users.
Volunteers work with people currently experiencing online harassment, and help others to learn how to avoid such harassment or minimize its impact if it does occur.

CYBER HARASSMENT
